With x-ACP's site selection algorithms, cell planners can choose between multiple proposed candidate cells to select those that meet desired objectives. In addition, network integration algorithms allow them to choose between two overlaid networks and multiple spectrum bands for the optimal design.
x-ACP combines a variety of optimization techniques such as evolutionary algorithms, simulated annealing, tabu-search, and domain specific heuristics to achieve high customer-perceived quality. It evaluates such customer-centric quality factors as Frame Erasure Rate, Block Error Rate, RxQual and BER, versus engineering approximations.
x-ACP also features a financial cost function that allows users to set budget controls. In this way, users can prioritize capital expenditures and eliminate spending on unnecessary improvements and upgrades.
