Global Wireless Technologies Leader to Provide UMTS Design and Optimization Services in Russian market
Atlanta, GA, USA, —January, 2008. Optimi, the global leader of advanced design and optimization solutions for new wireless technologies, has been selected by an important Russian Operator to provide advanced UMTS network planning and optimization tools and design services. Under the agreement, Optimi will supply state-of-the-art products x-Wizard and x-ACP (Automatic Cell Planning). Optimi's experts will also deliver consultancy services to support UMTS site selection and RF design optimization activities..
During the network planning phase, Optimi's well proven x-Wizard solution will be used to rapidly create an optimal initial design. For the optimization phase, the engineering team will utilize the x-ACP solution to select the optimum sites to be used for the initial UMTS rollout and to develop optimized cell designs to maximize capacity, coverage and quality.
