Optimi Awarded Major Network Optimization Contract by Oman Mobile
Global Wireless Technologies Leader to Provide Frequency Planning and Consultancy Solutions
Atlanta, GA, USA —August 29, 2007 - Optimi, a global leader of customizable planning, optimization and monitoring solutions for new wireless technologies, has been selected by Oman Mobile to provide advanced network planning and optimization tools and services. Under the agreement, Optimi will supply state-of-the-art products x-Wizard, x-ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) and x-AFP (Automatic Frequency Planning), and Optimi's experts will deliver consultancy services to support Oman Mobile's country-wide network optimization activities.
During the network planning phase, Optimi's innovative x-Wizard solution will be used to ensure optimal design. For the optimization phase, Optimi will use the x-AFP and x-ACP solutions to increase spectral efficiency and develop accurate cell designs to maximize capacity, coverage and quality.
