Optimi Wins Contract with Telefònica Mexico for Network Design and Optimization Software Solutions
Wireless Operator Will Deploy x-Dimension and x-AFP Solutions to Manage Network Growth
Atlanta, GA, USA —February 14, 2007. Optimi, a global leader of customizable planning, optimization and monitoring solutions for new wireless technologies, announced a major planning and optimization contract with Telefònica Mexico to help manage network growth and increased demand for voice and data services.
During the engagement, Optimi will utilize x-Dimension, a unique capital efficiency planning solution, to assist Telefònica Mexico's ongoing BSC planning and design. x-Dimension, part of the X Design and Optimization Product Suite™, enables operators to optimally provision each network node to ensure maximum service quality and minimize required CapEx and OpEx investments.
Additionally, Optimi will provide x-AFP (Automatic Frequency Planning), an application that improves spectrum efficiency and QoS, to assist in optimizing network performance across the country. x-AFP, part of the X Design and Optimization Product Planning Suite™, will allow Telefònica Mexico to increase spectrum capacity, and improve the end user's perceived QoS.
