Dave Williams of Telefònica O2 Europe Joins Optimi's Board of Directors


Global Wireless Technologies Company Expands to Serve Growing Demand

Atlanta, GA, USA —February 12, 2007. Optimi, a global leader of customizable planning, optimization and monitoring solutions for new wireless technologies, announced that Dave Williams, chief technical officer at Telefònica O2 Europe, has joined the company's board as a non-executive director.

At Telefònica O2 Europe, Williams is responsible for the company's strategic technical direction and technology planning for new products and services. Prior to joining O2, he worked at Cingular Wireless as vice president of strategic planning. In addition, Williams directed technical operations at SBC Wireless' west region - prior to the BellSouth Wireless merger, which formed Cingular.

Williams also worked for Pacific Bell Mobile Services and was responsible for directing the build-out of one of the nation's first digital mobile networks. Additionally, he held positions at Orange and Vodafone in the U.K., and currently serves as a board member of the GSM Association.
