Matti Mäki Joins Optimi Corporation
Mäki to Serve As Director of Sales for Russia and Scandinavia
Atlanta, GA, USA August 30, 2006. Optimi, a global leader in the development of customizable planning, optimization and monitoring solutions for new wireless technologies, announced that Matti Mäki has been named director of sales for Russia and Scandinavia. Based in Helsinki, Mäki will oversee regional sales teams, existing client relationships and business development initiatives.
Mäki has more than ten years of experience in Russian and Finnish sales, marketing and wireless communication. Prior to joining Optimi, Mäki served as a solution manager for Fujitsu Finland where he was responsible for mobile service sales and business development. In addition, Mäki worked as a project manager for FINPRO, an export support agency owned by Finnish industries and supported by the Finnish government, and was responsible for managing information technology projects between Finnish and Russian companies. Mäki also worked for six years at Nokia Networks as director of Russian sales and managed the VimpelCom account.

Mäki earned a bachelor's degree in languages from the University of Tampere in Finland and a master's degree from the Helsinki School of Economics.
