Optimi Adds Larry Cooke as Sales Director of T-Mobile USA Account
Industry Veteran to Expand Relationship with Leading Wireless Provider
Atlanta, GA, USA — August 30, 2006. Optimi, a global leader in the development of customizable planning, optimization and monitoring solutions for new wireless technologies, announced that Larry Cooke has been named sales director of the T-Mobile USA account. Based in Seattle, Wash., Cooke will oversee sales and business development initiatives and have full responsibility of Optimi activities at T-Mobile USA company headquarters.
Cooke has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the communications and wireless industry, and has worked with T-Mobile USA in a number of different capacities. Prior to joining Optimi, Cooke worked at Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc., where he managed the sale and implementation of SONET/WDM transport and WiMax solutions to North American wireless providers. Previously, Cooke worked with Lucent Technologies, Inc, and designed/sold high-end transport network environments for optical, wireless (TDMA, CDMA, GSM/GPRS and CDPD) and voice-over packet technologies. Cooke also held sales management positions with Digital Equipment Corporation, Inc. and Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
