Optimi Secures Contract With Major European Operator
Optimi's Ground-Breaking Applications Help Wireless Leader Improve Network Performance
Atlanta, GA — February 15, 2006. Optimi, a global leader of fully customizable planning, optimization and monitoring solutions for new wireless technologies, announced a contract for 2G automated optimization with a major European wireless operator.
Optimi delivered an OSS-based automated optimization package for 2G composed of x-AFP and x-Parameters. This package will optimize the frequency planning of the network and the BSS network parameters in a fully automated way. This is the first commercially deployed system to optimize BSS parameters in a fully automated fashion on a national level.

- x-Parameters automatically enhances network performance with multiple, simultaneously run optimization schemes, which eliminates the repetitive, time-consuming task of engineers manually fine-tuning parameters.
- X-Simulator as part of the optimization process allows the evaluation of the quality of service of the network before implementing parameter changes.
