Optimi xAFP and xACP solutions adopted by Tier 1 Pan Indian GSM operator
Optimi, the global leader in automated network planning, optimization and management solutions for all major cellular technologies, has been selected by a Tier 1 Pan Indian GSM operator to provide advanced automated solutions for frequency planning and RF design and optimization.
Under this agreement, this Operator will deploy Optimi xAFP for OSS-based automated frequency planning, including the User Quality Booster module to support QoE-centric optimization activities, and Optimi’s OSS-based xACP for automated cell planning based on network statistics.
By leveraging Optimi’s OSS-based automated planning and optimization techniques, this operator will be able to maximize the return-on-investment for the deployed infrastructure, which in this case is even more crucial than ever due to the fact that traffic is growing rapidly, spectral resources are remarkably limited and service quality has been chosen as the key attribute that will differentiate this operator from the competition. Therefore, OSS-based techniques are intimately tied to the operator’s competitive strategy and value proposition.
