Requirements: Technology Requirements:

Candidate shall have a minimum of 4 years significant Transmission engineering experience in GSM and UMTS and should have knowledge of the transmission techniques (mainly ATM and IP) together with different physical deployments (microwave, fiber, DSL/Cable…). It is important also to have practical knowledge on specific configuration of real transmission network equipment (Cisco, TelLabs, Huawei…).

Candidate will be leading the research and requirement specification of Optimi application for the inventory and planning of the Transmission network.

Soft Skills Requirements:

The candidate may be interfacing directly with our customer and must have excellent presentation skills along with the ability to understand technical requirements and translate those into SW implementation requirements.
The candidate will be expected to have experience designing and dimensioning different technologies: Radiolinks, PDH, SDH, ATM and IP.
The candidate will have to study the parameters of several equipments as well as of releases of software to discover the best setting of new functionalities and this way to guarantee a good quality of service optimizing the capacity in transmission. Technical presentations will be also required.

Academic Background: Titulado Superior en Telecomunicaciones.

Languages: English - must be fluent

Duties: The successful candidate will have an opportunity to expand his competence skills and continue in an expert consulting role within Optimi gaining experience with UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA and LTE/WiMAX technologies.
