Rich Pond

Rich Pond has nearly 20 years of wireless and telecom sales experience, and
is responsible for directing sales and business development initiatives and maintaining client relationships.
Pond was the former VP of Sales for Optimi's North American Region as well as Director of Sales for the AT&T/Cingular Wireless account and was responsible for selling wireless voice and data solutions. Prior to joining Optimi, Pond served as director of sales for the Cingular Wireless account with Comverse Technologies, Siemens Communications and Lucent Technologies. Since 1990, Pond has helped Cingular Wireless, BellSouth Mobility, BellSouth Cellular and DCS Telecom evolve their networks from analog to TDMA, GSM and UMTS.
Pond earned double bachelor's degrees from East Carolina University and a master's degree in corporate finance from Mercer University. He earned certification as a Professional Project Manager by the Project Management Institute and George Washington University, and earned a master's certificate in project management from George Washington.
